I have been doing a few sieges as a roman mithranic duke so far but the siege prisoner option never seems to show...

This might not be it, but do you have your character leading the center position? I seem to remember your character actually needing to be in charge of the siege for it to work, but I may be entirely wrong.

"Your noble half-sister, Lady Theodora has retained control over affairs of state in Seleukeia. Apparently, her odious husband, Doux Isaakios attempted to seize control and was humiliatingly rebuffed. He probably won't try to push his luck again any time soon."

Except I've gotten that event at least three times. And her first husband (who didn't try any shenanigans like this) has been dead only a little over a year. Plus shouldn't she be "Doukissa" or "Basilis" rather than "Lady"? Going to have to look into that one. Plus some punctuation revision, there should be commas after as well as before the names.

Observing what happened this time, seems she divorced this one... and maybe the previous one was killed by a lover (didn't really remember who had tried to usurp authority the other times. Divorced husbands don't stick around in the history, so it's hard to tell. But the only death event is death_murder in the module, and dead husband is dead by natural causes, so that's not it. All divorced?)

Yes... those events need a revision. They're at "MB_spouse_events.txt" if you want to take a look, but I'll eventually look at them myself.

I've gone back a save before the sister is married but after she has inherited the province from her grandfather, and try to play it out from her point of view and see what's happening.

There's a localization for a "I'll handle it myself" option as well as asking a lover, family member or trusted councilor to handle it, but it isn't used. Any suggestions for what qualities would enable a regnant female ruler to retain control without relying on the other options?

I've played for a while and i'm sad to see that the tocharian culture had been replaced by the sogdian one
Is it planned to add at least one lil tocharian duke and culture in the official release ??I'd love to kick some uyghur butt and take back the Tarim Basin with them

Replacing (or rather renaming) the Tocharian culture to Sogdian was Numahr's decision. The tag and culture is still the same, you'd just have to find the localization and change it back.

The real "Tocharians" were limited to a very specific area North East of the Tarim basin, and even they spoke Sogdian as the dominating language. When I do the in-depth overhaul of Central Asia, I plan to give them their due share in that area, as to each original people of the Tarim basin. The Iranian people who lived in pre-Islamic Transoxiane, who had a brilliant civilization, imposed their language as the lingua franca from China to Persia were actually the Sogdians - even becoming major factors on the political scenes of both the Tang and the Abbasid Empires. So indeed for the release of the Eastern map, the people inhabiting that are ought to be the Sogdians. You still see their legacy in modern times as the majority of city-dwellers of pre-Russian Central Asia were Persian-speakers "Tajiks", actually descendant of the Sogdians who switched their Iranian language to the mainstream Persian through the times to resist total acculturation during Islamic times.

For more background on that area, rather than inviting you to read... I would invite you to play a Sogdian ruler in HIP, as they have a good expert of the area who modelled the Sogdian culture quite well (including a very interesting music package for them, I learned quite a lot myself through it)

Well, thanks for the answer I have read has u asked me to do ^^ In fact there are 3 variations of Tocharian but the most spoken was the tocharian B in north east of north east of the tarim basin .From what I saw on wikipedia it did not disappeared because of Sogdian language whitch was mainly the language of business (Sogdians were the greatest merchants in the silk road) .Tocharian languages were absorbed by the conquering and numerous Uygurs who decided to switch from a nomadic way of life and settled around 840 AD in the area.

ps:J'ai vu que tu étais de Belgique si tu veux continuer cette discution en privé et en français n'hésites pas^^

OK, on the MB spouse stuff, a supressive modifier is applied to the husband for 3 or 5 years if he's not successful. I had the event twice, the first time my counselor was able to arouse public sentiment and foil the attempt, the second time the same counselor (now my lover) was unsuccessful. In neither case was I able to appeal to my liege lord father, which strikes me as wrong. I'll have to check the option A logic to see if I can figure out why not.

On a side note, I've started on a project of allowing mothers of bastards to legitimize them if married matrilineally or of higher rank than the husband or real father.

Edit: I have provisionally added a section in the potential so the decision is not available if any liege of the wife is a close relative of her, and not of her husband.

Just checking to see if it's a feature or a bug--I passed chattel slavery in my kingdom, but I can't sell individual slaves. Like, if I manage one, the option to sell him/her doesn't show up, just the standard breeding/lashing/freeing. Otherwise, loving playing as the Mediterranean Vikings.

Does anyone else think the new map just looks bad? Did adding in southern Africa really justify squeezing Europe into it's minuscule size?

It's actually a considerably more accurate size for Europe, relative to the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Read a few posts above. So my character has to be in center lead to get prisoners from the 'siege prisoners' event. Or does it fire only when my character is center lead. Saying this because when I complete a siege, I get the event but nothing happens. In saying this I put my character leading the flanks because he is good at it. If it is the former reason, then can you fix it so that the character has the event happen regardless of whether he is flanking or center. Or maybe you can't because of a restriction that only allows it to happen for the center lead.

He's referring to the "Petersization" of the map. Myself, I hate Peters projections, because they squeeze the northern parts of the globe so utterly and in such an ugly manner... Since we're not mapping a globe, I would have preferred a Van Der Grinten projection, maybe Chamberlin. Or, why not, an adapted version of this one:
