"Unofficial key-mapping program"

The community manual says that "There is an unofficial key-mapping program that allows you to define your own Pause key as well as others."

Is this still available anywhere? My keyboard doesn't have a Pause key, and the hotkeys for speeding up and slowing down the game aren't working for me.

Or should I just give up and buy HOI2?

You can edit Buttons.txt found in \Hearts of Iron\config and redefine hotkeys there.
