This is a Italian GC 36 AAR, it is set on normal/aggressive settings. I have not changed anything.
Italia had suffered greatly during the great war, and had not gotten much for their efforts during the war. There were many people who wanted Italy to become a greater nation, among those were Musolini, leader of the brownshirts, a facist movement in Italy. Musolini became head of Government in Italy in 1922. Musolini had great plans for his country and would stop at nothing to achieve his plans. To start with, he wanted Ethiopia to become part of the Italian Kingdom. Italy had lost the war against Ethiopa so many years ago, but it was not forgotten in Italy. They wanted revenge, and declared war on Ethiopia in 1935.
Benito Musolini, the Italian head of Government held his new years speach on the 1st of January 1936.
"Good evening and happy new year good people of Italy. A new year rises, we are happy to give good news of the war in Abyssinia, our military forces are advancing towards the capitol, Addis Abeba and we are winning every battle, the time of revenge has arrived. Soon Abyssinia will be ours as it rightully is."

Suddenly several armadas of planes flew over the arena where Musolini held his speach. The sky were filled with the roar of hundreds of aircrafts. Several minutes later the last of the planes flew by and silence filled the arena again. "Witness our glorious airforce, it is one of the largest in the world, and we will keep that way, ever producing more and always improving them. We will start to improve our army by producing armored divisions and many armored cars. Our army most be one of the most modern armys in the world and we will show the world that we are a super power ready to handle any situation. I have other great news as well, we will invest in more industries, making us ready to produce more in the future. We will fund the agriculture, and produce more goods for you people. I am happy to inform you good people that food will become cheaper in the year to come and taxes will be reduced. We will focus on exports to get more money. I wish you all a happy new year."

Musolini ordered the army to pause there and made plans to transform the fronline into an huge training field. Italian soldiers were sent there to experience real battle as an obligatory basic in their training. These plans were secret of course.
Musolini had put alot of effort into influencing Yugoslavia and trying to convince them into giving Dalmatia back to italy. After many months and with military threat, Yugoslavia gave in to the claims and ceded Dalmatia to Italy. In may, Musolini sent an ultimatum to Albania, claiming that Albania were rightfully Italian. King Zog of Albania refused the claims, witch was a rather stupid decision. He had no military forces and no way to stop an Italian invasion. Within a day King Zog had been captured and albania surrendered to the invading Italians.
Italy had recieved many complaints about their behaviour from the other leading nations of the world. Musolini took no notice of this when in the later months of 1936 declared war on Republican and Nationalist Spain to end the civil war in Iberia. A few months later no guns fired anymore. There were peace in Iberia, and the Italian colony of Iberia were established.
Other important event in the world in 1936 were the civil war in china turning into an huge open war between the different chinese factions led by Nationalist China, and Japan, with her puppet Manchuria and Guanxi Clique. The Chinese factions managed to defeat Guanxi Clique, but Japan had made huge advancements into China.
