Unlock time for Paradox Purchases?

Hey there!

I've bought my game over at the Paradox store. I live in Western Europe. At the time of this writing, the Steam Store page says it's 4 hours until release.

So... when will I be receiving my codes? Is there going to be an e-mail in four hours with my steam code?


Also, can I use that code on GoG also?

Paradox store only uses Steam codes.

If you buy through Paradox and your account is linked to Steam then there is no need to ever see any codes i.e. you can activate directly on Paradox within the Manage Games option. Once done it will appear in Steam and then download when unlocked.

Cheers! I'll keep a carefully on any sort of "launch" option then. I've already linked it to steam, now I just need to figure out when and how to activate.

1. Login to the store
2. Click on your name
3. Select My Games - this will show all the games you've bought via the store
4. On Surviving Mars icon, click "Manage"

This then takes you into a page which has (will have) an "Activate" button. Click this when it appears. The Steam key will be displayed in case you need to activate directly in Steam (sometimes the activation process doesn't work from PDX).

Just logged into my paradox store account and saw the key.

I tried activating it in Steam from there but no go so I just copied the key, started up steam and registered it.

Now I just need to wait. And it will be roughly 3am here when the game unlocks......

maybe it is my browser but that thing has only ever worked for me once a long time ago. i always have to use the email code on steam

currently my screen looks like this devoid of anything

but the steam code did work and i am playing it now.
