hawo im sure this has been asked like in all hoi games... besides asking the obvious if someone can point me in the direction of an unlimited time patch, is it possible to just amend a save file so that particular game can go past the 1964 deadline??? im playing a game as china and on the verge of world domination and just need a bit more time.... haha. Any ideas?

Yes you can. I do it all the time with the WWI scenario. Go to the save file, look for global data, then end date. you can change it from there.
