CG, why did you change nation at all? The only thing that happened was that HAL got all your rich provinces. You are still fighting for piss-poor provinces in Africa. Eventually it's gonna be decided that Poland is also to weak to compete, and HAL's gonna annex that too...

True that, but he will now receive 0 manpower from the provs. He will have the wrong religion and have to convert all the provinces, and with his small European base the colonies will be hard to defend, if he does not receive constant aid from OE (if there is anyone who wants to attack the colonies). I don't expect Poland to ever become an independent, competitive nation. Reliant on a powerful neighbour for protection they might still become noteworthy, however. Just like Mameluks was. The only difference remains being: 1) lots of free, rich provs for OE and 2) a large loss of hard fought-for lands for France.
I don't see the point, but whatever floats your boats (and it probably aided Portugal).

actually for you there wouldn't be much of a change than a little different things you can buy. For editor it would be a lot easier since this program would made all the edits for the editor. Also there is something that probably KJ would appreciate the most, MILITARY TRADITION, the more you are fighting the better generals/admirals you get.
and we have 2 kinds of points already: military points and economic points, it's the same for P&P (power=military points, prestige=eco points)
Of course it is not a good idea to insert this system in ongoing campaign since we are using other system, but maybe in the next game we could.
Doesn't help you much, since you are still super-poor with low techspeed. Well, against the pagans of Africa it's easier of course.
