Constantinople was the very first City in the Republic to uptake the new way - Magyar Cathar values. A global power city, Constantinople exerts a significant impact upon commerce, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education, and entertainment. Constantinople will be made into an important center for international diplomacy and would surely be described as the cultural and financial capital of the world.

Situated on one of the world's largest natural harbors, Constantinople grew into major center for trade, where every lowborn had a chance to earn capital and make his name. Let poet speak of this wonderful City:

That was a major luck. First time I see this event in my game. Besides it says - "bring in some boys from back home" but the ugly truth is - there never was a home with Hungarian Cathar population

I also have one rebel army who has sieged like 5 provinces North East of Black Sea Totally dont care, will send an army once the warscore reaches at least 70% for them.

REPUBLIC RISING - The Spread of Fear



United States continued expansion to the Italy claiming several provinces. Armies under great commanders won several major battles and established democracy control over South Italy. Education work domestically delivered fruits with more and more people uptaking the ways of respecting human rights and religious freedoms (Became Cathar).

A wave of terror started. Sunni uprising, Tengri uprising, Bogomilist uprising. There was seemingly nothing in common, but White Yurt was worried. The intelligence report No352352 showed that all arrows pointed South. There the mighty Abbasid Empire financed uprisings and terror acts against United States.
The nation consolidated in the silent march in memory of the victims, such as lovely Vardo of Pitsunda, only 23 years old teacher. Who was killed by rebels on the lovely Spring day of 23rd of May. She will be remembered forever!

White Yurt held extraordinary meetings. Abbasids should be punished, but they were too strong. Report showed their armies were equal to United States numerically and in strength. The war promissed to be long and bloody. President Arpad decided to only use diplomatic and intelligence channels.

But then. "It was not us it was them who declared war with their acts of atrocities and crime against mankind!" informed Mr Arpad Arpad in his famous January Speech.
It was them. Indeed it was them.

I stopped my short playthrough here, as it got late to the night, but a nice war ahead. Probably we will win, have money for mercs and being on defensive is great.

This is quite old and I am not sure if with Conclave it is even possible to survive with this mess of religions and cultures that currently United States of Carpathia and Byzantium is.
Anyway, nice memories. Was a fun campaign!

Although in that AAR I found a hilarious decision by Turkish nomads who decided to settle... in Komi! I might give them a try for next AAR.

Thanks again for sharing the savefile. Having a lot of fun messing around with it, and I feel like I have a good idea what's in this stories future: rebels as far as the eye can see.

I'm so sorry, I don't have them anymore. When the savefile acted weird by me updating CK2, I deleted it. I feel awful, I would love to see this story continue...

Still a favorite of mine among all the CK2 AARs I've read. I'll always feel some guilt thinking I dashed the final hope of it continuing.
