Hi. I was browsing this forum, and wanted to drop a line with a few suggestions.
1. A Nullification Crisis event. This would allow a South Carolina revolter (with maybe a couple of North Carolinian provinces) and could lead to the founding of the CSA in the 1830's. Jackson didn't simply invade SC becuaee that would have enraged the Southern states, and in the 1830's the US would have had no hope of defeating a CSA. The CSA formed by this event would of course be smaller than a Civil War CS (no Texas, maybe just the Carolinas and Georgia really). Just a thought.
2. Reading the Appomattox event, it appears that the US will always be able to reabsorb the CSA, even if they've lost the war handily. This is probably due to my ignorance when it comes to reading events, but I think this one should be dropped if it just arbitrarly ends the War and destroys the CSA.
As you can probably tell, I'm eagerly awaiting the day I can play
some Europa as the Rebels. Good luck all, and thanks for listening.
P.S. - Yes, I am aware I mangled arbitrarily...maybe this is the real way to spell it.
