Hi,
I posted this in the General Discussions and someone suggested this might be the place to ask.
Is it possible to vary the manpower costs of units between countries? For example, can I make German infantry cost more manpower than Russian infantry? Could this be done through events or minister traits?
Could the same thing be done with IC cost?
How hard would something like this be to do for a novice modder?
I'd like to be able to give some differentiation to the major powers armies.

It could be done, but it's a bit tricky. Let's take for example infantry unit - you would have to create new type of infantry (with lower manpower) in infantry.txt file, than activate it for one country only (by technology given to this country from the start of the game in it's inc file). Rather complicated, but it works - I experimented with this metod in order to create Kamikaze units.

No. In case of event there is no such command, and in case of minister - there is no such trait. Of course, you can activate special tech (see above) by event, but it complicate whole method even more.
