When I was watching the 'Conquest of Paradise' Stream I saw that the colonial nations flags were just half of the parent country and another colour. To me that sounds very cheap and annoying, I'd think it'd be a lot better if they had unique flags for the time period. Especially if they are historical, e.g. The Thirteen Colonies, New Spain, Louisiana. Also I'd think it would be nice if you could edit your colonial countries flags, like the system in CK2 for making your dynasty's emblem. It'd add a nice personal touch, e.g. If you made 'Vinland' you could put grapes as the flag. I also think it'd be cool if you could re-name your colonial country, especially if it has a generic name like: English Mexico or Spanish Peru e.g. English Mexico---> New Hampshire for Example. Finally I think that there should be colonial regions for: Africa, Australia, New Zealand,Indonesia, India (East Indian Company), and Pacific Islands (Could incorporate into Australia/New Zealand etc.)
