Interesting start in 1337 100 years war, both golden hordes and ilkhanate are related and heirs to each other. Both being muslims, I choosr Golden Hordes Khan and promptly plot to murder the Ilkhanate. After uniting the titles, the game becomes very interesting:
1. You rule huge area encompassing Persia and Most of Russia. Can you subdue europe, arabia and africa in time before game ends?
2. Mongol invasion cb requires no piety or authorization and comes with 1 year truce.
3. Decadence can be really annoying because of Realm Size multiplier. So make sure to imprison and execute non direct family members. You also need to do holy ears to lower decadence, since invasion doesnt lower it.
4. Who needs alliances? Forget alliances, marry 4 genius women and breed those God Emperor Khans of the western worlds.
5. Massive, I mean MASSIVE Retinues. Just by moving capital to a larger former muslim county you can get upwards to 200k retinues plus 300k levies. Those clone army doomstacks might be gone but hell its more fun to make you own. You can invade entire nations just by using retinues alone.
6. Huge faction revolts. the only thing that sucks (good?) is you get lotsa faction rebellions from unruly vassals. Use everything at your disposals at them
All that being said has anyone ever played them? What you think?
