At a convention in 1419 for German unification 3 powers wanted a unified Germany, Brandenburg, Pommerenia, and Prussia. After the other German states refused they got help from England, Poland, and Russia all for different reasons for unification. They immediatly started annexing every Germanic State near them. After around 6 states got killed the rest decided to join Germany.
Austria:
Austira inherited Hungary and Bohemia because the OE attacked Hungary, managed to kill the king, Austria came to the rescue, and they managed to push back the OE. Austria then bought off Illyria and Istria from Venice with the Ottamon gold.
Balkan State:
This country was created as a buffer for the OE against Europe around 1476. But at 1490 they declared their independence and attacked the Ottoman Empire gaining some land including Ragusa.
Ottoman Empire: After the Otttamons killed Byzantine they decided to attack Ragusa which they annexed. Flush with succes they attacked Hungary and got defeated after Austria came to the rescue. They decided to give Wallachia all their borderland with Austria including their other vassal state Moldavia. At 1490 Wallachia declared itself the Balkan State and took over land from Ottomans.
England:
England managed to defeat William Wallaces rebellion after they decided France was least important.
France:
France managed to take over all the small states after England backed down. They thought theyd test their luck so they took back Calais and since England didnt respond they declared the war was over.
Italy:
Italy had a meeting just like Germany where they decided they needed to be unified. The larger States, Papacy, 2 Sicilies, and Savoy, became one and annexed all of the smaller powers till they reached Venice where they just offered several thousand ducats If they could have all of the Venetian territory. Venice accepted after they gave up Istria and Illyria.
Spain:
Spain after the war for Reconquest was going badly sold Naples Sicily and Savoy Sardinia. After they did that they pushed back the moslems but lost Malta to a unified Muslim State.

Russia decided to quickly attack the other Russian powers including Pskov and Kazan. The Czar managed to do that but when he was reconsolodating his forces a Mongel State formed to fight him. When he saw the map he died of Heartattack.
Mameluks:
After seeing Persia annex Iraq they decided to attack and conquer Nubia so it would not fall behind the power charts. Once it set it sights on Mecca and openly displayed its intentions it was stopped when Mecca, Aden, Zanzibar, and Oman formed to fight against the Shiite super powers.
Muslim Holy State:
This state was formed when Persia and the Mameluks both annexed a small Sunni power. The states decided to mirror the Papal States as being the Holy Muslim Empire.

A humble suggestion for a header and format.
The world has entered chaos and in pursuit of unity and for various reasons the many nation states of Europe have banded together into strong countries. These nations are united and powerful. Guide your state through the hardships and compete with the other states for supremacy. The reasons behind the forming of these united countries are simple and included below.

Not too much, seeing as EU1 has a rather limited event engine.. especially since a well (badly) placed reload will remove a slew of your scripted events..
Yeah, once I tried to find the files for the random events and their effects, and couldn´t find them...

They are just a set of numbers linking specific random events to set months of a marked monarchs reign. I'll have a look-see when I get home.
And if it was the actual random events you looked for they are all snugly hidden away in the .exe.
