Unification Rate

I was curious, perhaps this has been already been discussed, but how often do you seen the unifications of Italy, Germany, or Scandinavia occur when controlled by the AI. I played a couple of games and was in despair that the computer could never pull this off on its own, until the last 3 games where I have seen 2 unified Italies, a Scandinavia, and a historically unified Germany that behaved perfectly (it’s moments like that which make me love this game so much ). I’ve just been playing 1.03b vanilla, and don’t know how different it is with VIP.

Nope - Vanilla VIC v1.03b

The only time they don't unify, really, is when they accept the Frankfurt Assembly.

I am glad SCA is forming 5% since a noticable but small percentage was what I was shooting for

SCA should only form if BOTH NOR and SWE fully support DAN in either Slesvig war. This should make it fairly rare and since it didn't happen IRL this works fine

The problem I see is that unless Italy unites before the 1870's, it is pretty helpless, as it has been fighting itself for 40 years.

On a side note, has anyone see Germany unify any way besides the historical route?

Germany unifies about 10 % of the time in my games. I've seen conservative empire fire once in about a grillion games.

Italy manages to unify most of the time, but the thing that I'm irritated about is the fact that the Balkans are always under the Ottoman boot.

In VIP Italy seems to unite a lot. Never saw it unite in vanilla.

I've only seen Scandanavia unite once, in vanilla.

I've seen Germany form via the CE twice now, once in vanilla and once in VIP.

Germany almost always unifies for me, even in Vanilla. Never saw Scandinavia in a serious game...

Scandinavia unites all the time using 0.2b VIP for me.
Italy never unified in my games.
Germany unified maybe twice but one of the times it unified because I was using Italy and in the Franco Prussian war, I jumped in and took Paris for them, oddly enough, they attacked me shortly after the war was over :rofl:

Germany 0-60% (depends which nation I play, what I do, if I'm French they never form )
Italy- never seen, but haven't tried to help them...maybe as France you can do it...or if you play 2Sic, S-P or the Pope...

Germany 60%
Italy 5%
Scandinavia 40%

I usually don't see Italy unified. More often than not I see Prussia become Germany, but with the North German Fed..
