Unhappy/grateful vassals?

Hi,
Just wanted to ask if anyone know how to take care of these ungrateful vassals. I try to give my vassals 5 land each as I can only have 5 myself. After a time, they start to get unhappy and want to revolt. Can send them money but it only helps a bit. And revoking titles cost me much more honor than it does them, so in the longer run, I run out of honor before I can force them to commit seppuku. And ninja´s takes forever to hire even though I have a 1100% possibility, so using them to make my vassal lose honor is not an option. Any help would be appreciated.

How low is your honor? Vassals tend to go a bit rebellious when you drop below 25.

And also, I've heard that if you have more than one theatre it still won't be 400% higher chance, it'd still be the same 200% chance. Seeing as the theatres only affect a province and not the whole clan.

Once you give them a daimyo title you can throw more lands at them and they will in turn distribute lands to their vassals.

Marrying your extra daughters off to them is another good way to bolster relations so long as you don't desperately need them for plotting purposes.

Ninjas are much more available.

They are more frequent but come with less quality.

If you are in such demand for ninjas, you might want to revise your policy towards the number of vassals.

You can also transfer them to a daimyo.
