Gimli then realizes that Charles is currently a Knight Templar High Bear, and is therefor immune to Magic. Gimli ends his turn, a little disappointed that he didn't realize it sooner.

((Well, since you rolled a 20 you'd know that he was only a High Bear when he became a High Bear. Before that, he was a Dwarf of some kind. ))

Lucas listens intently for the direction of the talking.

Lucas thinks he hears it to his East, and considering he's an Elf, his hearing should be fine. However, this is also the direction of the weird noise he is hearing.

Lucas heads to the East, attempting to sneakily and stealthily see if he can figure out who's talking.

As he gets closer to the sound of the location, he suddenly trips over something partially buried under the ground, flying through a prickly bush that deals 3 damage to him. He tumbles on the ground and lands face first, taking another point of damage. As he lays on the ground he hears someone say "Woah! Hey buddy, you okay?" in a weird accent.

When Lucas looks up, he sees two weird, metallic creatures, one with a tornado on its head, standing in front of him. He can also see what looks to be long abandoned ruins.

"Oh," the one with the Tornado head says, "I'm Aeolus, and eh, my buddy's name is Artio."

Artio nods as he holds a pointy thing coming out of his. "Afternoon, me lord," he says. Lucas realizes that the Pointy thing has leaves coming out of it, and is in fact a tree growing out of his head.

"Say, you wouldn't happen to know a, uh, Eorcen, would you?" Aeolus inquires.

"Nah, man. He was a Bennu," Aeolus said.

Lucas does not know what a Bennu is, nor has he ever heard of them before.

"Anyways, it's a shame you don't know him, because this was his Library. Pretty much in ruins now. We were supposed to guard it, but obviously, we didn't do a good job at it..." Then it looks like Aeolus has a thought. "Say, you wouldn't happen to know what, year it is, would you?"

Marion, who hasn't heard any fighting, goes over to where the weird noise is coming from. Soon, he sees Lucas talking to two Metallic Creatures.

Marion immediately knows they are Elemechs; Elementals that had been put into Robotic bodies by a long dead race known as the Bennu. He had only read about them from ancient tomes, but now he sees two standing right in front of his ally.

"1100?" Aeolus says. "Th-that can't be right. The last year I can remember is 5672! Did we go back in time?!"

"Impossible," Artio says. "Time can only move forward. The Bennu even knew this. This must just be their year system."

"Oh yeah, smart think Artio!" Aeolus says, then he looks at Lucas. "Well, odds are great he's dead somewhere. At least that explains the Library's conditions. We must have been offline for thousands of years!"

Both the Elemechs look at Marion. "Why is there an almost naked, very confused Kobold over there?" Aeolus asks Lucas. "Is he your pet or something?"
