unedited Defines.lua causes crash

Recently, whenever I've tried to open ck2 it crashed. I've done a clean install, restarted my computer, the whole thing. However, it kept crashing.
Eventually, once I deleted my defines.lua file, everything worked just fine, weirdly enough.

However, now my checksum is completely off of what it should be, and I cannot play multiplayer with anyone because of this.

Having deleted that file, run a Steam Verify operation to replace it.

I have, whenever I replace it, the game stops working again. Oddly enough, I have managed to get the same checksum for multiplayer, so I guess its fixed?

Everyone else runs with that file in place just fine, so I don't know what is happening in your case, I have to say!
