I don not know if this is already possible - but a few people should simply not get killed as they are too important. eg Rokossovsky http://generals.dk/general/Rokossovskii/Konstantin_Konstantinovich/Soviet_Union.html
as he will be important for Post war poland. there are many others for POL and DFR as well.
just thought i'll make his suggestion if you want to extend the game to the 50s

Yeah i know what you mean , like in the case of Montgomery for UK or Manstein for GER, and most of the time they dont even "fight" with the troops rather be behind the lines so the death chance should be lowered for everyone, but not to make them immortal.
