I know this has been brought up in past patches, not sure if it has been brought up again, but undead popes are a real nuisance. Mine has been dead in 1094 and I am in 1155,

I'm seeing a similar weird pope problem. It's 1178, but when I check out the Papal States, it shows the Pope as living from 1120-1182, already being dead, and even being canonized, even though it's 4 years before his death date. What's up with these weird dead popes?
