Yesterday I needed another bus on a particular route. After adding it I did my usual and watched it. After joining the route it was too close and I watched the unbunching, the % and it went up to 500$ a few times till it was opposite the first bus. Today however all my buses on all routes, even after deleting 1 and redoing it, are bumper to bumper and follow each other. This of course is totally useless. I have watched the vehicles that need unbunching, and saw that the % of unbunching does not go above 117%. This may be a bug from the game update or IPT 2 as they are the only causes I can think of.

Can someone look into it please?

It's not really a duplicate because he's talking about a mod feature that might be pointless. Transport vehicle unbunching has been added to the base game.

Unbunching has been added to the base game so no mod is necessary for it to work, it does a good job but needs time on existing room that haven't been "unbunched".

I believe that the mod he refers to, IPT 2, has added a feature where you can adjust the amount of unbunching that occurs. Have a look at its discussion page.
