Unbidden fleet does not take damage

Hi, in my game the unbidden arrived, I attacked them straight up with my 81k fleet but the unbidden did not take any damage in the fight. I attacked a 17k fleet so it should be an easy victory but my 81k fleet did not deliver a single point of damage is this a bug? I still have 77k left of my fleet but I locked in combat and if i escape they chase my fleet so if this a bug I would request a quick response.
