Unbelievably slow browsing, pages not loading and pages directing to the main forum on loading drops

This may be covered in the "state of forum access" thread but I cannot get it to load for the past 20 minutes and am tired of trying.

What is the deal? Been like this for a few days.

The "state of forum access" talks about permissions to get to various areas, it has nothing to do with issues like this.

Can you try from a different location?

This sounds scarily similar to my problem with the forums being appallingly slow when I am logged in. Try logging out and browsing to see if it makes a difference. I can browse perfectly well when not logged in or when logged into a different account, it's only this account that has a problem. It's been about three weeks and I'm still waiting for it to be fixed.

Have you tried emptying the cache of your browser?
What browser version do you use?
