Never played any games by Eugen nor Paradox so I didn't have any of these accounts before. Bought the game to play with friends.

First problem:
First time opening the game it asked me "Do I have a Eugen account?", to which of course I clicked "No". Then it asked me "Do I have a Paradox account?", clicked "No" again. A account registration window appeared and I filled in the details and clicked "Create" (of something similar I can't remember). It loaded and the buttons were greyed out then lit up again. It seemed nothing happened at all because I couldn't sign in with my "new account" and it kept asking me do I have accounts.

Second problem:
Went on Eugen Systems and Paradox to create an account on BOTH sites. Still didn't work in game.

Third (and biggest) problem:
Tried using my friend's account to sign in in-game, it worked. But now I am stuck with my friend's profile without a way to sign out of it and we can't play together. The game kicks the first person who signed in off the profile. When I click multiplayer a window would pop up and I can either choose "Cancel" (which doesn't do anything) or "Retry" (which automatically signs me back into my friend's profile). Or when I reopen the game it automatically signs me into my friend's profile.

Tried uninstalling and install again with fresh download from Steam, auto sign in persists.
Tried removing the Userdata files in Steam folder; with cloud sync on it auto signs in as usual, without cloud sync an error would pop up saying something like "game needs to sync profile with Steam" (something similar because I can't remember clearly) as soon as I open the game and I can only choose "Quit" which closes the game.

So in summary I need a solution to remove the Steam cloud data (tried with methods on different websites and was unsuccessful mainly due to "sync conflict" couldn't be initiated) or a way to sign out of the profile in-game.

The above are my situation and problems and is the ticket I submitted to Paradox player support.

They forgot a way to logout of the game. The support says there is no way to change your account (there was in wargame..) So you must wait until they add it or get a refund from steam.
