Description​

I cannot host a Grand Wedding for my son because his betrothed is a regent, which apparently counts as an activity.

Steps to reproduce​

Promise a Grand Wedding. One of the couple is a regent. Tried to host the wedding, didn't work.

Same issue here. Bride is player character's daughter and is a regent for her child from her first, deceased husband.

I had the "Fabulous He" event trigger with her and accepted it.

Promised grand wedding is impossible due to "Already Involved in an Activity." As the OP suspected, I also believe it's because the bride is a regent.
