Unable to fin character import file

When I try to import my character from Mount & Blade to Warband, it keeps saying this message, although I saved the file in the Characters folder of Warband.

What else do I have to do?

Can you even import your old character from original M&B to Warband?
I doubt it, you'll probably have to start a new character.

When importing did you give it the same name as your character? Both names must match, then you can change.
