Unable to download Luancher

I recently moved to a new pc and when i went to install the paradox launcher it does nothing, pressing the button makes the page load of a second but no download ever appears. Pressing play on my owned games does nothing either. I haven't installed it before on this pc so i cant try to uninstall

*edit* fixed by trying to isntall through a different browser (edge worked chrome didnt)

Do you mean the standalone Paradox client, aka launcher v1, that you get from here?

Because it can run Stellaris but not CSL.

Or the actual launcher v2 that installs when you install Stellaris and CSL?

The standalone Paradox client, im going about a reinstall of steam / stellaris and see what will happen

Reinstalling Steam cannot help with the standalone Paradox client, as they are alternatives to each other. If you are okay to play the game from Steam you don't need it at all in fact ... ?
