I get an Invalid User_ID error every time I try to connect it. I have tried restarting my computer.

Every gets that, I believe, I sure do. I guess it's not functional yet.

It probably has to do with the fact that Steam removed support for OAuth a couple months back (more on it here). I guess we'll just have to wait for an update from the web developers of this site.
