I've a problem playing UK in a MP game :

i cannot sink japanese convoy, i think this may be due to the number of escorts assigned to this convoy.
I've succeded in sinking some convoy on the mid pacifique (bali), but after, no result event with very important and well balanced task forces of 12 units.
For instance, i've tried to blockade singapour, which is quite easy, but with no single result, then the jap landed to Perth, australia. I blockaded perth with 3 task forces of 12 boats (CV+CA+BB+DD), but there was no result too.

I tought 1.06c had a tweak to prevent large amount of escort on a convoy, but it seems not to be efficient enought.

You are correct that 1.06c fixed the "killer convoy" issue. But that is not what you are getting right now, based on what you said. If you have a good naval force in a seazone but are not seeing any convoy intercepts after a few days this generally means one thing: there is no convoy moving through that seazone right now. Sometimes the AI is not real bright about setting up convoys to its invasion zones right away. It may take as long as two weeks after the landing before the AI gets around to supplying its beachhead. Also, the AI will sometimes abandon a particular convoy route if it is has been pounded, so if you are a late comer to the Perth battle it might be that the Aussie or Brit navy has already pounded on that convoy and the Japanese have temporarily allowed it to lapse. The last possibility I can think of is that the convoy is REALLY BIG, and so it only needs to make runs once every week to ten days due to the huge amount of supply it carries when it does run.

On a side note, I strongly advise that you redesign your naval task forces. It is generally a bad idea to mix BBs and CVs in the same task force. The BBs, with their lousy visibility, make it much more likely that your carriers will be surprised, thereby failing to scramble their planes until they have already been damaged by the enemy. You should make surface action groups centered on the BBs' big guns, and separate air action groups centered on the CVs planes. Obviously you still want DDs with the BBs, but the CAs are redundant, since the BBs have bigger guns and the DDs have better air and sub defence. With your CVs you should send 2-3 CAs, 1-2 subs and the rest DDs. The subs greatly help your carriers in avoiding detection and achieving surprise. The CAs are only there as insurance for the off chance that you might get surprised, so if you have good detection techs you can leave them out, too. With the USA I generally only use cruisers with my anti-sub (ASW) task forces, say 3 CAs and 6 DDs. With the USA's superior naval tech the BBs and CVs really don't need the fire support of cruisers.
