So I was doing a Mapuche playthrough, westernized, became major power, bla bla bla, france turned into rev. france... And then into Rev. Rev. France? I'm pretty sure this is a bug, because all my manual save files with this got corrupted

Welp, it corrupted my manual save files and it only showed up as "Rev. France" in the autosaves. It's a revolutionizing revolutionary revolution. Wouldn't wanna live in a france that endures the revolution... And then gets revolutionized again
I'm guessing it got screwed up because there's probably two different revolution event chains - one for France and one for everybody else, France first had its own revolution events happen, then the second set of events fired.
They revoked the privilegia in the mid 1500s, something which I consider to be incredibly soon for the AI. Of course, as a catholic mapuche nation I allied them to bully the north out of the BBB. if you want more screenshots of them let me know, although I can only get one from 1588, 1599 and 1820, since this Revolutionizing Revolutionary Revolution thing messed up my other save files

That is true. I guess they would be at the Robespierre's terror or slightly beyond that point
I noticed that this tends to happen very often in the last versions.
I guess this to be somehow linked to the IA bonus the catholic Emperor gets after winning a religious war.
BTW "30years war" tends to pop much earlier then expected (more like a Smakald League war, I'd say) and last much less, usually with a crushing catholic victory.
New chains definetly need some kind of fine tuning.
Isn't that what it's called when the French AI moves its army back and forth rapidly between neighbouring provinces, dancing along to a tune that the player can't hear?
I noticed that too. Pretty much every playthrough I've had since the AoW patch has had a renovatio imperii. Nevertheless, the Rev. Rev. BBB still beat them in a war because Riga got the HRE in an endless war with russia
After 1.8 any (European?) nation can become revolutionary and get the 'Rev.' prefix, but there was also a specific 'Rev. France ' tag that was used before this. I'm guessing this is a pre-1.8 save that already had Rev. France in it.
