umm Why did I automatically agree peace with Germany

Playing as France in WW1, enclosing on Berlin, its late 1917, hoping versailles will trigger but then... BAM I agreed to a peace treaty without my knowing? is some auto foreign policy on I don't know of? All of a sudden I lost all the lands I had gained and reverted back to how it was at the start???!!! MADNESS

Wait for a week or so and the peace negotiations begin. This game is realistic. Armistice always precedes peace negotiations.

Thats not the problem, I can't even get to versailles!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep signing white peace with Germany? AUTOMATICALY!! HOW CAN i STOP IT?
