This issue is in addition to the instant dissolutions wars, for which there is already a thread. When actually playing as the Umayyads, your realm is guaranteed to fracture after the first succession. The succession law is confederate partition and the realm contains three de jure kingdoms, so it is always split among the three eldest heirs.
Unlike the vikings and feudals, clan realms cannot implement any elective law, so fracturing is unavoidable. This might be intended behavior, for balance reasons. However, it makes it impractical to play as one of the most interesting factions in the dlc. In the previous version, you could at least conceivably form Hispania within one lifetime to prevent fracturing.
Having the Umayyads start with partition instead would make them more fun to play as, while still allowing for dissolution wars. There is precedent for this, as the Byzantines start with primogeniture in both start dates.
