Just finished reading through Dev Diary #90.
Love the map changes that you're making but there was one thing that caught my interest:
If this is true, then I have a suggestion to add some fun lore to the game.
The myth is that the monks called the island Thule, or Ultima Thule. Granted, it's all dubious claims but the fact that monks actually lived in Iceland, before the vikings, is equally dubious so...
At any rate, my suggestion is that before the start of the viking age, Iceland is actually named Thule, since the monks supposedly live there. Add onto that, you have opportunities to make some non-decision events with some additional lore, once the Viking age starts. Multiple expeditions were made to the island as well as attempts to name the place were made, before the land was eventually settled. The most notable ones were Garðar Svavarsson, who tried to name the place after himself (Garðarhólmi), and Naddodd, who called it Snæland. Eventually, Hrafna-Flóki named it Iceland, which stuck around, as you all know.
Sprinkle in some additional humor, with the ruler exclaiming "Can't they make up their mind?" after getting a report about the third name change.

Iceland will be settled by Irish monks in 769. When the Viking Age starts, all the vikings will get a new decision to settle Iceland.
