With an advantage of roughly 9 to 1 from starting units I think this should be a piece of cake to crush Persia. How easy it is to crush all the others. Who knows?

Yes, Persia is fairly easy to beat. More on that next chapter.

So when one might be able to predict the turnout of a chapter, the real challenge is for me to make it fun to read!

You're going to continue with month puns until you have run out of months won't you?

Anyway another great comic.

Also I like to add Merry Christmas to Ulm, Svip and all the readers.

Oh, it'll be a lot worse than that.

Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you!

What is this warcapacity? Your ability to mobilise resources (vs what is eaten by decadent peasants)?
Which would indicate that once the dirty deed is done, russia will have the ability to field 200.000 soldiers, and still have excess money.

edit.. or alternatively, some kind of unciv "malus" to troop quality..?

In the war against Persia, there is no need for additional troops. Hell, no need to use all one's troops.

Where is Ulm? :(

Oh, Ulm is there.

Is there any motivation in this game to fight Persia with only a small detachment, as historically Russia did?

Persia is not very valuable and it has no victory points. But more on that in the next chapter!

hmm.. the screenshots do show saqqra being a land victory province for russia..
And even if that has changed, its still provinces and the world must be made green.

Oh and what is "warcapacity"?

War capacity is in EU3, if not other Paradox games. It' s one' s ability to continue fighting based on number of raised troops, manpower, and occupied provinces. It' s yet another reason why Persia will lose.

Merry Christmas, Svip :)
