I actually wanna work towards Psi Empowerment research, I'm just not sure if Spiritualist is enough for it. I'm wondering if that's one of those Fanatic Spiritualist things.

Although there are many differences between our factions at the RP level (which I am still working on) and in Government form, they share some strong similarities. I hope it doesn't look like I stole from you, I only just managed to read through everyone's posts after posting my own Faction!
At first I was afraid I ought to change my faction so it isn't so similar, but I think RP wise it should be different enough to remain interesting (unless other folks think I should still change it). A thought did come to me however... perhaps our species could both come from some lost precursor? Seeded throughout the galaxy, perhaps as long lost colonists which have now diverged but share some long lost ancient connection?
If you are interested in something along those lines I would be up for it (although the in game species backstory might contradict it later, since I guess those can pop up after a while...)
A large part of my faction's concept is that they probably aren't originally from the planet they come from, so it makes sense to have a similar faction somewhere else in the cosmos. I don't think you copied me, don't worry. I think your bio is slightly better written than mine anyway, I've got a much longer version written out, but i don't want to dump 2000 words on to the forum.
I'd like to read it. I planned on doing something similar. My favorite part about RPing a faction is that I get to write its history.
We have a lot of similar factions, but their end goals may differ or they way how they play their faction. I was thinking at one point to have fantastic pacifist that want to force peace to all.
If they see a war they will join one side to force peace. The other idea i had was a crazed militarist that just for the kicks of it start wars.

Agreed, I very much tried to depict my faction's religion and culture so I can use that as a baseline.
The Rana would like it to be known that they care not what crutches their future servants use to make life bearable.

I am sure that, we the warm blooded have to object to this and be sure our objection will be felt when we cut off your tails while you run from our glorious fleets.
Objections are allowed, it gives our warriors a chance to practice for real battles against real foes.
I'm already looking forward to see how the corruption will grow on my Zorghot.

We need some kind of steam hub type place to post our lore and stories before the game is launched >.< We could dump it in this thread but it will be very hard to find it all later on.
Hmm... as far as I remember the Republic of Bob is quite the believer of Bob... for us the Etherians this is quite strange, but in the name of progress we can see a temporary alliance to defend ours selfs from the reptilians is maybe, just maybe acceptable. Also maybe we can study *cough* *purge* *cough* the reptilians.
