SP have said that their HoI import copies should be available by Thursday - so on the doorstep by friday! (Maybe earlier with a bit of luck)

Great news!!! I've also just asked my order to be upgraded to next day delivery and I too will be feeling ill this Friday...
Sadly I can't afford to do that. Being cautious I took the following thursday/friday as leave so my grand campaign will have to wait until then. I'm sure I'll find the time for a tutorial and one or two small tryouts beforehand though
By the way and talking about SP (I may assume here it stands for Strategic Plus), it is not that i am particularly worried by nature, but I just wonder if it is normal that I did not receive any confirmation of my preorder ?
Actualy, their interface is pretty weird, and I don't like the idea that I gave my cardnumber without any further information. Of course, I might just worry for nothing, thought ...

Don't worry, I went through just the same thing. But I heard somewhere that they don't usually send confirmation e-mails, and also that they are pretty reliable in general. I sent them an e-mail a while back and they replied quickly, so I'm not worried

yeah i didnt get a confirmation either - iirc they dont send any, but i made mine by phone anyway (if that makes any difference).
Its been so long since i ordered a game off them i didnt even know i had an account there. /em shrugs
Personally i'll be more than happy to see a copy by Friday .. beats the heck out of waiting until February (which seems utterly bizare to me btw)

At the end of the SP electronic billing process you get a web receipt page which it invites you to save or print. It is quite easy to close it down without thinking unless you're used to the system.
Only got round to ordering my HOI today at 5pm. (had been seriously thinking of flying to Stockholm for a weekend break !)
I phoned my order in to SF, the guy said it would probable go out Thursday. More importantly the first bloke I spoke to said they only had 10-15 spares left ! (not quite sure what was ment by spares). Said they'g been taking 10 or so orders a day for some time. I got the impression from the US dates he quoted that the games would be flying over the Atlantic sometime Wednesday or early thursday.
So if you're as indecisive as me, I suggest making your mind up soon if you want to get it from them.
By the way has any UK guy (or girl), who ordered from Sweden/USA, got their game or any firm indication of expected date of arrival.

I spoke to sp on the phone today and they said they were expecting it in on friday, so I was planning to go to their shop on saturday. Its only a three hour drive each way.

Don't forget to double the estimated journey time for the areas within the M25. And then allow 2 hours or so to find somewhere to park.....
....especially on a Saturday.The shop is very easy to miss, as well! It's through a little archway, set back from the road, and about the size of a telephone kiosk (OK, maybe two ...

The other big thread about them had the phone and fax number listed. I'm afraid I didn't keep a note of them because the online system always works for me.

But then you'd have to pick between HoI and MoO3....
How are you going to handle that?

MoO3 is still MIA at the moment, but even if they did both arrive HoI would get my attention first. The fact that I can read and post here with little lag while the main MoO3 forum is unbearably slow on those rare occasions when I can connect means my enthusiasm for HoI is still increasing while MoO3 I hardly get to hear about
