UK granting Canada a Dominion status

When UK grants Canada a Dominion status in GC Canada doesn'r receive these four Newfoundland provinces: Hopedale, Romaine, Millertown and St. John's.

However, in the 1881 scenario setup UK Canada is a Dominion and UK controls the abovementioned plus Ft. Chimo.

Should either the 1881 setup or the Canada revolt file provinces be fixed? Or did something happen IRL which resulted in Ft. Chimo returning to UK's control before 1881?

New Foundland was a British Colony until after the Second World War, so it should not join Canada. However what has always happened to me when Canada forms is that Britain choses to incorporate the Prarie Provinces afterwards, and that leads to a Canada consisting of Quebec, Eastern and Southern Ontario, and Victoria Island, while Western Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan all become British colonies.

Perhaps there should be events for those lands to become part of Canada if they're claimed by Great Britain, or perhaps this issue simply isnt important enough.

What about Ft. Chimo? Should it stay under British control as well when Canada becomes a dominion?

Fort Chimo should belong to Quebec rather than Newfoundland since Fort Chimo is well, in Quebec. This should fix the bouncing ownership in different scenarios...

The British North America Act of 1867 provided for the inclusion of Newfoundland and Labrador in the newly established Canadian confederation.

However, merchants and bankers saw little benefit in placing Newfoundland behind a high tariff barrier designed to protect the manufacturers of central Canada. The debate raged on until the Newfoundland election of 1869 when anti-Confederates won 21 of 30 seats in the legislature. Talk of confederation in Newfoundland ceased until the 1940's. On March 31, 1949 Newfoundland entered the Dominion of Canada.

So the inclusion of Newfoundland as part of Canada in 1867 is wrong, and should remain British until The title of Dominion of Newfoundland was formally adopted by the Government of Newfoundland in 1908. (In 1933, owing to the World Depression and its inability to meet interest charges on Public Debt, the Legislature asked the King to suspend the constitution and appoint Commissioners. They took office in 1934 thus ending Dominion status.)

There is no question about the fact that Newfoudland was British and all of that, but fort Chino SHOULD definitely be in Canada. The province reaches to the Ungava bay and it's clearly Quebec Territory. It is not part of Labrador.
