I've just started a game as the UK. What is the best way to handle the Commonwealth countries? It would be nice to have some expeditionary corps, but I don't want to assume military control, and so far they haven't offered me anything. At least they have sent their air forces to Britain. It's June 1940 in game right now. Thanks.

With the AI as it is, you are much better off taking military control. This has the added benefit that you get to reorganize the formations and assign proper leaders to them. The AI will just waste its forces in pointless stronghold garrisoning or weak and unsustained invasions.
