This is a map suggestion. I ended up on a map that Recon claimed it was Desert but it showed up as green and temperate. There was a mountain that seemed like it was traversible on all sides, however it became obvious on the other side that there was a slope that looked like I should have been able to go down it but there was no walking path.

I'd like to have a button that turned on a hex overlay that shows connective traversal paths so I could tell if the art and the positions are going to link up and I can plan accordingly. A UI toggle that just turned on all the dots and put little lines between the ones that were mesh connected or a button that would temporarily highlight it. Going to replay this mission now that I know I cannot trust the art on the mountain.

Hidden in one of the loading tips - and this is a great example of why we need a manual - is this juicy info: hold down ALT while moving your mouse to see tiles that you can move to.

It's something at least, but I'd like to see little lines. You can kind of guess where there's no connective tissue when there's black gaps, but it'll still show dots down a hillside where I know there was no way down.

I would also like to see an option to enable the ground hex grid. It would help make movement easier to calculate, and a better understanding at a glance which terrain belongs to which hex.
