I actually think the game is a big improvement in 2.0, if somewhat overwhelming - tried to persuade a new person to play and he gave up after 20 minutes.
One issue for me is UI. Feels like a few steps back, especially around clicking the top toolbar. Can no longer click stability and then go to religious mode and boost stability. Instead I have to select the religious toolbar on the left (and remember which one it is). Is this working as intended? Seems a bad decision.
