Steps to reproduce:
Did this by accident after a few hundred hours of gameplay, so doubtful that very many people are running into this. Not a priority and now that I know what I did, I know what not to do to avoid it. Passing it along, nonetheless.
- Toggle off mini map visibility (default key = . )
- Maximize log/mini map size (default key = M)
- Mouse over point of interest so that label is shown
- Release M key
