Just a couple things on my mind with the new update. If PDox focus on QOL things like these, this will be my fav game. Would love to see other peoples' suggestions.
  • Integrating culture should show how the new culture will impact levies
  • Make panning in a window use RMB/LMB or add a scroll bar
  • Auto marry ruler family (Monarchy)
  • In general add more color to things to make them stand out in the UI
  • All windows resizable
  • Get rid of most checkboxes in favor of toggleable icons
  • Get rid of squares inside of checkboxes when there are more than two states to a toggle
    • It's very unclear what's happening
  • Make macro builder bigger:
    • Building builder needs to have more info: show all buildings in the province, show territory, general province info
  • Add more functionality to legion view
    • Split, merge, remove cohort from army
    • Show what contributes to levy size
    • Automatition controls
    • Create new army for legion without having to split one
    • Maybe merge in the mercenary view here
    • Don't auto-assign characters as legates when they will be disloyal immediately

    • Use some coloring for the type of religion a god belongs to

      • Yellow (at least 50% needed for civil war)
      • Red (90+ needed for civil war)
    • Sometimes a character will be target of a marry scheme, but if you give them the scheme to marry, it will auto-cancel and not refund you or notify you why it was canceled
    • Show all schemes against this character
    • For loyalty and powerbase, sort the effects by size of impact

    • Give option to clear all trade
      • Would help to setup trade routes before declaring war on a big trade partner
    • Only show the option to import a good if someone is willing to accept
      • Maybe place x on icon before clicking
    • Show yellow squiggle instead of red X if you can trade after sending a gift/improving relations
    • Idea: Trade should have bigger impact on relationship
    • Idea: Allow proposing trading a good away
      • Ask A.I. if they want your goods, instead of making them ask you
      • Trade should be conscious and clear where things are going

    • Show lost trade amount when declaring war, getting DOW notification, or accepting call to arms

    • Make it easier to arrange royal marriages with foreign countries
    • Make it take longer for characters to get married (16 - 25)

Thanks for the link, I like a lot of those suggestions, but I think what I was more aiming at is QOL and additional functionality, while that thread is mostly about confusing UX design and outright bugs.

Booted up the game again and have a few more:
  • When a law is locked by tech, create a button that takes you to the location in the tech tree
  • Make the border on great families characters larger or more prominent
  • Merge the offices and researcher tabs?
    • saw another suggestion about this where there could be some way to swap positions
  • Allow for direct assignment of characters to a legion's army when there are not enough added in the legion view
  • Show how fast character gain statesmanship in the offices view
  • For decisions that change government type, show the effects it will have on the country (this used to be in the game)
  • For Macro Builder, allow for city building templates
  • For Administration Window
    • Add a cities view with filtering, sorting, buildings, etc
      • Basically you should be able to do everything you can from the typical city view
    • Governorship view has no way to change governor
      • This and the provinces screen seem to have the same function, so maybe get rid of one of them
  • Make the size of the rows in the Levy view smaller, at 110% UI scaling, I can only see 2.5 at a time
  • When you create a tribal vassal they will eventually try to convert to a client state, it would be nice to know what affects this
    • If it's a matter of centralization, show it somewhere
    • Good opportunity to create a new vassal interface

The character sheet is lacking vital information in fields where it apparently is only able to show one thing even when many are applicable, e.g., when a character has a job and is also something else (such as the head of a party) it only shows one of these items. The pop-up version of the character sheet also does this.

It's also hard to tell what party a character belongs to in some of these character sheets, but I think that's already been added to the above list.
