I am a big fan of the 2.02 trade import UI overhaul, it is a massive quality of life change.
However, I urge the developers to dedicate some time to address the UI related to tracking province upgrades and/or modifiers. Any player who plays tall will share my sentiment - there were missed opportunities with the UI overhaul.
Here is what I am talking about (picture from one of my multiplayer games):
This is not helpful at all and just an absolute pain to decipher. As a tall player I am interested in having easy access to information and to have the option to delve deeper if I want to. But this is just completely unusable once the game goes on for a bit. I would argue the older way for displaying these effects was much better because there was a lot more space. Now everything is crammed in there and it just does not work.
This is a follow-up from a previous suggestion of mine where I suggested that having counters displayed for the number of province upgrades you have would be very useful. In the same way you have counters for buildings. Imagine if you had to discern the effects from your buildings by manually going through these modifiers and doing mental arithmetic every time. Would drive you crazy wouldn't it?

While adding counters will certainly be a QOL feature on its own and alleviate the described issue - it will not fix how little space is given for the province/city effects/modifiers.
So please, if possible. Take a look at this. You have no idea how smoother your trade UI changes have made the gameplay. Right now, everything regarding province/city modifiers/effects is such an annoying hurdle every time you have to figure out something. You need to do all of these annoying mental steps, arithmetic etc. A good UI is supposed to present information in an easily digestible way and there is none of that when it comes to province/city modifiers. Currently it involves going through all of these little modifier icons (many of which are the same for different effects and/or not easily distinguishable) doing arithmetic AND THEN figuring out what you need/want to do next.

Quality of Life Province UI Change (easy to track province investments)
I am sure that many tall players can relate to this, but I often find it hard to keep track of the province investments that I have paid for over time. I would have to hover over the province effect modifier and do some basic dvision, but still...
