The game is fun and will be even more in future, but the UI isn't.

Atm. the UI takes some fun of the game.
The devs should have a look at the game "Endless Space", it will go to beta today and has already one of the best ui i ever seen in my computer time since 1984.
Maybe they can gets some ideas from it, i think this game plus the UI from ES would be a real burner!

The UI is to inconvenient, to few hotkeys, many things can be done at accidental clicking, lack of feedback ( but this is not UI^^ ), unsorted perks, etc....

The UI works but seems not to be designed for easy access playing, sentry or skip turn button at the opposide direction on screen s the best example, when someone use the mouse he must all the time move the mouse alll over the screen.

I see what you mean; the UI in its current state makes it very easy to move a unit by mistake, and there's no way to undo your mistake except for loading an autosave. This is caused by a few things: There are bits of empty space between the command icons, so when you accidentally click next to the an icon with a unit selected, you just commanded him to move somewhere you don't want it to go. There's also a lot of overlap between the controls: Right-clicking is at the same 'Deselect' and 'Unit details'. It's extremely irritating when your screen is full of units and you have to click five times in order to find a spot that deselects your unit. There are no control configuration options for this at all.

More hotkeys would be a welcome addition, as well as a small 'ignore command' for the left-hand 'to do' icons.

I think we must show the devs what can be optimized, so this game can get a cult like MoM is, so player will get a smile on their face when remembering on the game some decades in the future.

I started to play with computers with the old Commodore C 64, and there are some games i got a warm feeling when i see them at abondonware sites.
Those games are stepstones in the gameplay history, and this game here has the great potential to be one too.

But there must be worked on, atm there are a many things which stops the game from going to the place i whish i would be in future.
