Sometimes, when you come back to a save game, it's hard to remember what effects are on your company (in terms of +/- tech points, high/low spirits, etc.

The tech/med points difference between 'normal', 'bonus', and 'penalty' is just a color difference and it doesn't tell you how long you have left on those effects.

High and low spirits are easy to see by scrolling through your mechwarriors and clicking on each to see how long the effect still has, but that's on a different screen.

SUGGESTION
On the right side of the screen, between the system info and the timeline, place another UI element that ONLY shows up when there are effects on your company. Have it formatted along the same lines as the timeline, but only showing the effects and how long they have left on them.

Add a minimization tab to it (similar to the system info and the main interface on the left) to allow the player to shrink it to the right side of the screen.

Alternate Suggestion
Add a tab to the timeline box for 'Effects' vs 'Work/Travel'. In 'Effects', show the effects as well as the financial report and recovery times for injured pilots. In 'Work/Travel', show the upgrades, mech work, and travel times.

Alternate #2
Add a game setting option to show effects in the timeline and have them integrated into the timeline.
