Uh, am I stuck in a nearly unwinnable war?

Personally, I find the AI to be a lot more agreeable when I control it's capital- even if at some 70% with the capital, they seem to give in a lot more easily than at 99% without.

How often does this work? Im in a war with 99% warscore, and about 50 provinces left to take with 8000 soldiers. But i DO have a shot at the capital. Will taking it help me get the measly one or two provinces I'm aiming at? Does anyone else have the same experience?

As has been mentioned before the 99% doesn't really mean much. Capturing the capital at least as far as I have seen does help but it is only one of several factors in a peace agreement. If you have really taken on a country with 50 provinces all I can say is good luck.

LoL. Propably shoudn't have taken on the Malmluks and Hedjaz with the Knights. At least Duldakir are my allies ...
