Tyranny 2 - What do I have to do to make it happen?

We actually don't own the IP for Tyranny, we only published it in partnership with Obsidian. Much like Pillars of Eternity if there was a sequel it would have to come from Obsidian themselves.

Interesting, there has been a general impression that you did own the IP, thank you for correcting that.

Funny thing, apparently we do ! I was actually pinged last night by one of the producers (I think that's what he did at the time...) about this and he kindly informed me that we do own Tyranny! That doesn't mean a second one is in the works but at least it clears up the confusion that I've caused with my previous reply !

So now all you need to do is make a Tyranny grand strategy game!

Really? Please make a Tyranny sequel and a Tyranny grand strategy game, or at least an expansion for CK2 that re-makes Earth into Terratus, please!

Imperator would be more fitting for a Tyranny mod than CK2.

For the setting yes, but Imperator (at least at the moment) lacks the rpg elements of CK2 that I think really brings a fantasy setting to life.

I was thinking the religious omens mechanic suits Tyranny's edicts fairly well.
