You merely adopted the hype. I was born into it, molded by it.I only recently joined the hype-train by watching the WWW series. I can only imagine the strain on your hearts from being this excited for two years.
yep pretty sure the only crew with more patience than us are the people waiting for star citizen
Don't worry: we've got hearts of iron.I only recently joined the hype-train by watching the WWW series. I can only imagine the strain on your hearts from being this excited for two years.
At least we get to play star citizen..sort of.

In retrospect, the whole way they announced this game was way too hype-tastic and built up expectations that they probably could never have met. The fact that they announced the (cancelled only 11 months later) Runemaster at the same time shows that this was a double-mistake on their part.
Neither of the games they announced then should have been announced until they had a good idea what they were and when they would be released.
No guarantee, but it sure as hell would be a buggy mess if they released it before a proper beta.
TBH I think that announcing games over 2 years in advance is bad business. The message of what the game intends to be get's confused over time, which customers come up with mixed up expectations - including myself.
I'm not saying this directly towards HOI4 but more of a general observation. I like what Bethesda did with Fallout 4 announcing it six months ahead of time keeps the excitement red hot, rather than talkign about a game for 2 years or more and then it's underwhelming when it's finally released.
Granted not all publishers/devs have the brand value of Bethesda where they can pull it off. But I think Paradox is on that same level of respect, (albiet a much smaller genre) where you dont have to start talking about games over 2 years in advance. Keep your resources on develpment not PR.
wow hard to belive i have been excited for this game going on 2 years now it feels like a life time
