Using the latest patch, I noticed that whenever I create a colony now, it is created with MY culture instead of the culture of the adjacent Provence. Is this something that was changed in the patch?

Also, I know there used to be a bug in the game where if you had a barbarian Provence that was in the same region as your capital Provence, then it was considered "ungoverned" and the barbarian segment of the population would never go away. This used to happen to me as Pontus with Trapezus and was quite annoying. It looks as if the "ungoverned" modifiers to taxes and RP have gone away, but the culture shift and barbarian assimilation penalties have not.

Playing as Carthage, all of the colonized provinces that are part of Carthage (Africa?) are still Numidian and/or have barbarian populations some 40+ years later while most other provinces have had events fire to convert them. Not one in Carthage has converted.... perhaps my elected rules CHA is never high enough?
