I like Mr. Dog's stolen rules, they sould good.

On the stacks, maybe not more divisions than the infra of the province, as that would encourage taking and defending certain high infra provinces, and discourage large amounts of units in low infra provinces

*Surrounding enemy capital: Not allowed unless you attack the capital within a reasonable amount of time.

Agreed.

*Military access: You may not ask for military access (exception: you can ask military access from a puppet you control). You may not attack from neutral land or make an amphibious assault from neutral ships.

Agreed, keeps the brits outa my way.

*General exploits: Not allowed (includes accepting events that fire during each start up (like the Lend-Lease events), Japan annexing China before the Nanking event, using ghost armies to conquer enemy provinces, upgrading infrastructure in provinces that you will loose, Italy DOWing Vichy France, Allies or Soviets activating the Monroe Doctrine before the USA is in the war).

No If we could keep the soviets from doing this as well.

*Tech sharing to AI nations: You may only send to AI nations in your alliance, and you may only send silver tech (exception: CW nations may send both silver and gold tech to AI controlled CW nations).

what's a CW nation? Other than that I agree. I think.

I say no more than 50 units in a prov unless It's a capitol. But that's simply because I think Germany prewar needs to have a large buildup before the polish invasion.

Um One question on this what about deploying built divs? Since Both players are human do we consider the freely suplied units an exploit and Bad or is it ok to hold in reserve as surely automatically knowing how many units your enemy built in WW2's time frame is far from reality? Personally I think not tipping the hat until the last possible moment will add to the suspense.

But I'm open to sugestions.

Sedita I think you should be the one to track down a place for the meeting forums since you should be the only one to know both of thier locations and i don't want to set up one and accidentally land where the birtish want to set up shop.

also a small warning. IF and Its a very big IF anybody cheats and we catch you your name here will be put in my sig as a cheater on these boards and i would advise those that know how to also put your name in their sig.

Something of this magintude is too important to have ruined by a cheater. Having said all that I personally think that teh peer pressure of not screwing this AAR up should be enough to keep the troops in line. :D

that's all for now. I'm not a monster I just don't want to see anybody tempted by the dark side. Please this can be sooooooo cool lets not screw this up.

Also to any late commers. Since the ministers are full if you want to be rep'd asa general or what not feel free to post, but we will add at a 1 to 1 rate meaning the 1st poster gets the country of his choice between Britain and Germany, the next one is auto assigned the the country not picked by poster 1. So be an odd poster if you want to get to pick. That said have fun and PLEASE feel free to RP this.

As The Ruler of The German empire I must protest then. Why does the commonwealth get to give gold techs?

As a normal person I do ask why but any reasonable explination will work.

I guess that it is for the historical reasons, as the Commonwealth nations and its patron GB were tight together more than any other nation(s)...

but that is only IMHO...

Rules sounds good...
what about new units? should them be deployed in core provinces only? I would say capital, but it is far too restrictive...

and btw, did anybody already said what version are we going to play? CORE/vanilla/something else?

That is sole property of Greven Q. White and I don't feel like sharing right now. ;)

That's my goal. I think its fair while also allowing late commers to join in.

After the next person join both side will have 1 new recruit.

The person after him/her that joins can pick which side they want. The person after that get's whichever one wasn't picked.

:D

I'm impressed I came of with a smart Idea.

Greven Q. White.

Those rules look fine though I really want our German allies to be able to get some decent tech too but I suppose I can live without it.

What Wolfhound said. We should get some advantage from actually having a Commonwealth.

Oh and another thing. Who will be writing in the main AAR thread while the game is in progress? Seidita, the two leaders? Or should I be preparing press releases about the RN's latest success? ;)

Finally, Warrior and GrevenWhite, what version will we be playing?

Alright, I'll shut up now.

It doesn't matter to me. CORE would be easier for me to use than refixng my HoI main game back to normal with a Gray germany but whatever is the general consesus.
