Even without a commander the Soviets have gotten a Northern OOB in! Quickly, Germany! Their victory is almost at hand! :D

Anyways, I'm working on the "official" OOBs right now, starting with the Russian Finnish front. It's going along nicely and I hope to be into North & Central fairly quickly. (And I think the Russians will appreciate it - a nice amount of the units on that map are not at full strength. ;) )

Well, actually the Soviets had one more OOB to send in, so technically the Soviets could have won since they got three in first. How about this: Whoever takes the enemy capitol first gets to say who wins. That sounds fair to me. :D


EDIT: And on the forums I put up the Soviet OOB for the Finnish front. There's also a small snippit in the German part so you can check the format before I do any more.

Ok, quick update. I have all of the OOBs put into the game except for German Center (which I need to get some clarifications for) and South (which shouldn't take long once I get it anyways). I also have the Finnish OOB done (if you haven't seen it, it's in the forums) and plan to finish up Soviet North and Central to help in planning - Central has a lot of under-strength divisions, so they probably want to know about it before they get too much planning done.
Anyways, I was going over the situation after setting up the German Army Group North, and I'm going to need whoever takes the multiplayer chair to do some mild modding - just download a single file (maybe a folder - I'll fool around with it) for when we play. I'm going to replace one of the brigades with a "Minor Nation" brigade - if I can the Carrier Air Group, but I'm thinking the Advanced Light Tank Brigade if it has to be a land one. The reason is that I didn't realize the discrepancy between German and non-German org - it's like fifty points. Unfortunately it's because of doctorines, something I can't fix with any sort of in-game restriction or savegame editing. I'll lift the upgrade restriction to help compinsate for this, but units that are "built" by the minor nations will still be constructed as '36 infantry (every so many months one is added - the IC cost of those units is already removed from the scenario to reflect this).
EDIT: The CAG bit works, only one file needs to change and it *shouldn't* change the regular game. Make a backup anyways, but I think it's good.
