I'm going to have to make a request: could one of the Soviet players join the German side as an AGC? Maybe one of the Soviet AGCs and have your Chief of Army take over the open Army Group - if Germany does the same, that will fill all of the Army Groups on both side. The ministries I'm not as concerned about - I can have the HoS handle it with advice if necessary, but the military aspect is kind of important.

They'll be used once I put the OOBs up over there. Right now there isn't much to discuss since all of the information isn't out there, and they just went up yesterday so not everyone is signed up there yet anyways. Give it some time.

You're HoS. You don't have to submit a minister though, since we all know who he is already.
I'm not going to force you to be an AGC too - I'm hoping a Soviet player will switch since the numbers are definately skewed at the moment anyways, and it would fill the positions if the Army Chiefs each took an AGC and one Soviet AGC join the German side. If you want a minor command that's fine though, but HoS should be more busy than the other ministries since you have some influence over the military part - Armaments and the like are more non-combat ones, so there are lulls in there.

Ok, I'm going to take a break for a little bit. Later today I'll try to put up the Finnish and Central Soviet OOBs in their subforum, the South and Finnish German OOBs in their subforum, and the general Soviet front in here (until I put up the offical AAR threads, at least). Provided I get the OOBs from the remaining AGCs and all of the positions fill up, I think we could get the first, probably very slow turns underway between Wednesday and Friday. I think we'll probably be used to the system within a week or two after that (although I am a pessimist, remember ), and we should have a nice, steady pace going from then on out.
But for the next hour or two, I'm going to play video games. If I see any brackets before then I'm going to puke.

Well for now you can for the most part - all of the Soviet units start in the same place, as do all of the minor Axis units. The only difference at the moment is in the German setup, most of which I don't know yet
The problem is that the current "OOB" is a list of units in locations. I'm mostly talking about command and such, so people don't send in orders for units that aren't theirs. Additionally units are presumably going to move once we start, so it's a system to show you where the units are, what they are, their condition, etc. You can plan strategies before I finish of course, but I'm still trying to get this done ASAP.

Hi all. Sorry about the OOBs (for the finished units ) not being up yet - I kind of ran into a glitch while adding the German Army Group South (remember that I'm literally coding in every division from scratch). I fixed the issue and don't think I'll run into it again - it was just a typo that I put into every division that made their type not match with their corps'. Very irritating.

Anyways, I'm at the point where I can't go much further until I get some player input again. The following people need to send me OOBs, and have been informed by PM as an additional reminder: Sir Monty; El Jefe; Blodwen. Additionally I still need two more AGCs on the German side (although I hope that the German Army Chief will fill one of them).
As for my part reprinting the OOBs, I'll print the lot of them when I get the lot of them. As it is the Germans can use the map I made for the Soviets, and most of the Germans are undeployed as far as I know - I can't show anything that isn't already out there. When I get the full lists I'll show command structure, unit states and the like, but for now the 1941 scenario has everything I do.

If you switch me I can also take the role of German Head of Intellegence. Also what does OOB stand for? I could use some help in creating one because so far I don't get it.

OOB is order of battle as in which divisions are under who's command in what town etc...

Well frankly I think having an AGC in the earlier turns will be more important than an HoS in many ways, or at the very least we'll need it for the setup - the HoS can wait until we start if it absolutely has to.
El Jefe, you're in charge of Army Group North on the German side. I'll send you a PM with what needs to be set up and how to do it. I'd appreciate it if both Army Chiefs take over Army Group Finland (Germany) and Army Group North (Soviet Union) and do the OOB bit. (Well, not in Finland, since it's all Finnish anyways. I still need a leader, though. )
